Smart Delta Resources partners Air Liquide, Ørsted and Yara have made excellent progress in their sustainability strategy. The green hydrogen projects ELYgator (Air Liquide) and Haddock (Ørsted & Yara) were selected last week as a project of European interest. The projects have been awarded the so-called IPCEI status (IPCEI: Important Project of Common European Interest) from the European Commission. The IPCEI status gives projects a positive qualification and thus access to broader forms of financing.

It is also a boost for the green hydrogen economy in the Benelux. In a European context, 35 projects have obtained an IPCEI status, of which no fewer than 8 Dutch and 4 Belgian projects.
